The extreme overuse of ‘hack’

The word ‘hack’ has been used a bit too much lately…

Some words, it seems are overused lately. Take, for example the word hack. It used to be that the only time it was used related to an intrusion into a network or bank account.. The word now has evolved into other meanings such as trying to provide shortcuts or cutting costs in half..

Ex.

Pinterest is starting to send emails out in this hoping to entice viewer interests to a particular topic (woodworking, crafts, etc..) The further that we delve into social media interests the more we are overusing these words, which seems sad really, but appears to be a trend that is not going away anytime soon..
